I think Bones is a bit fed up with me. It's not my fault. There are also white and red disko chairs available but they are sold out so I only was able to get the blue and green one.
Actually, I could have offered him an instrument. There are still the bagpipes, the electric guitar and the trumpet. But the way he was looking, I didn't dare LOL
I am indeed saving the bagpipes for when Scotty arrives. Can't play all my asses at once ;) I need to have some surprises left. I got them in Glasgow, it is a fridge magnet and even makes music.
Yeah, at first I did not want to get them, as I would have preferred other colors, but once I realized this it was a must buy! I'd love to have the red one as well, for Scotty or Uhura, but I would have not the space for a third anyway, they are huge!
That's the best of the "I'm a doctor, not a..." jokes I received for this one! Awesome! Especially funny, you know, as in the German version he is called Pille.
I love the new chairs! For a long time I had wanted to get some. A friend had them. They look very futuristic!
Someone said that Bones is the oldest. So I may do a second part with Jim getting up and offering the elderly person his seat. He'll grumble even more then LOL
Haha, well, so this was an unintentional pun on my side:-). Actually my first meeting with ST TOS series was on ORF1 because this was the only "western" channel we were able to watch here in the south. But unfortunately my German is onůy based on 3 years at primary school and watching Austrian TV. Now I use English, it would be very embarrassing for me to try and a real disaster.
Who knows, more might come back to you than you think. It's been years since I learnt Russian in school and I have forgotten almost all of it - as you say, it is only English these days. Still, sometimes when my co-worker is on the phone, I catch a word and a phrase and realize I understood that. I could not speak it, but hearing it I do at least understand a little.
You could also try to search if there are German lessons on TV. They usually are also much simpler and better to understand. Here there is all kind of school TV. My brother tries to learn Italian with it ;)

Someone suggested I should buy something special just for him. I'll have to think about that.
I love my new chairs! I should try them with the Doctor(s) as well.

Good idea.
Your disco chairs are perfect for Kirk and Spock, they match their shirts!
