"Gotham" pilot scenes - The butchery

Mar 05, 2017 22:02

Another scene from the "Gotham" pilot: First Jim gets caught by the bad guys, then Harvey too. No need to worry for them as this is the pilot, otherwise that would be a very short series LOL I love heroes who do sarcastic comments in time of peril. "Thanks for trying to help." - "Wish I hadn't." Cracks me up every time ( Read more... )

That apron! I'm telling you, for weeks now I have set up the scene I want to make, with Alfred making breakfast in the kitchen, and it is all decorated lovely and was ready to shoot. Originally I wanted to give him one of my selfmade aprons, made from cloth, but they don't look really good. And then the evening before I took the pictures, I looked for other stuff and found this one.

Then I had to wait for it to be delivered. And now it's here but it is too big for Alfred. I'll have to make it a bit smaller first. It even opens and closes at the back, it's awesome! Definitely looking better than mine. I'll also paint it in a different color. But then! Then I finally can do the breakfast picture.

You can see the other apron here: http://dieastra.livejournal.com/156252.html

Hiya! Ever since I watched the pilot I wanted to do this. I'm evil like that ;) And it IS a great scene. Setting the tone for the series nicely. A bit of drama and a bit of humor. Me likee.

I actually bought the apron for Alfred, but it is too big for him. Before I make it smaller (and paint it a different color), I wanted to make good use of it ;) This guy seemed like the obvious choice.

Want a behind the scenes?

That's an excellent point about that scene setting up the bit of drama and humor that runs throughout the series, I hadn't even thought about it like that until you mentioned it! :D

Hee, that was definitely a great use of the apron before it was modified! :D And yay, I LOVE behind the scenes pictures! :D Hang in there, guys! Lol! ;)

Thanks for that, I'm always very interested in seeing how everything works and is setup! :D ♥♥♥

Yep, that pretty much sums up the show ;) I think Bullock's like was when I seriously fell in love with the whole thing. Up until then I just had been a casual watcher, "to check it out".

I just realized the other day that the tape with which I hung them up is still on my exhaust hood (I posted a behind-the-scenes pictures in another comment)
