Just a little something I whipped up today. Yesterday a Facebook friend posted this for his elf on a shelf collection: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10154493443766141&set=a.10151981520171141. ( Read more... )

Aww, I love the orange rodent with the bushy tail in the last picture -- is it meant to be a dormouse?

quarryquest says yes! And you have the perfect icon for it ;) Lots of rodents for my rodent lover!

Just checked your icons - I never noticed how many you have indeed! I love the one in the pink car and the one in the dollhouse bed. On Tumblr there once was a huge house someone had built for their mice, have I shown that to you already?

I wish I had space for more than only 15 icons. That's really not much. Maybe they'll change that one day for free users. They changed that we now can edit comments, which we couldn't at first.

They only gave the ability to edit comments because they broke something else... preview, I think? Basically, it was added as a workaround for functionality that they accidentally took away from some users through some of the other changes and couldn't figure out a way how to give back.

And thank you, re icons! I originally got a permanent account so that I could have all the hamster icons I wanted :P

Interesting! I didn't know this.

Permanent? Wow, that's dedication.

Well, I had a paid account for a couple of years, and figured that a permanent account would pay for itself in 9 years of regular paid account or 6 years of a paid account with equivalent features to a perm account. And that was in December 2008, so by one metric it's paid for itself, and even by the most stringent metric it will have done so 1 year from now.

Actually, I wish I'd gotten a permanent account the previous time they had been on sale, because that definitely would've paid for itself by now.
