AFT Star Trek / Stargate: Convention photo session

I don't really have an explanation for these, just that it is meant like a convention picture. People get themselves photographed in front of the Enterprise. And since today was the day 50 years ago Star Trek appeared on TV for the very first time, it seemed a fitting day to post.

Oh those are very cool! I haven't seen them before (probably cuz we weren't LJ friends back then lol)

Yeah, that's true, they are rather old. We actually got the idea in Vancouver! After the convention had ended, we went on the stage to look what the room looks like from above, and to fool around in the Richard Dean Anderson way. And one of my friends said that we should do a convention with figures. She actually meant Stargate figures, but I kept the idea and it became a Doctor Who con.

If I remember correctly, I found you in a friends meme, right? Connecting over fandoms and also stage/musical? I think it was a good choice, happy to know you!

If you look at the upper right corner of my LJ, under "links", when you click for example on the "Doctor Who comic list", it will take you to a masterlist with all the old picture stories linked. I also regularly update them with the new ones at the top.

I honestly can't remember how we met on LJ...it feels as if I've know you on here for a long time even tho' it hasn't been that long :)
