AFT: Sherlock meets Sherlock

Jul 12, 2016 20:37

Back in January I did a post introducing my new 5 Inch Sherlock figure and also let him pose with the skull and violin, but as it just turned out, I never posted the other two pics I took the same day. At least I can't find them under the usual tags. Apologies if you saw them before.

Just a little fun ;)

Hee! (And, yeah, I'd looked through your Sherlock tag when we first friended each other, and did not come across this pair :)

I posted it to Tumblr, Facebook and Twitter apparently! But sometimes I want to wait for the next day on LJ when I already had something else posted and don't want to spam too much. And then I forgot ( ... )

Never say never, Sherlock!

They look like Doyle's Sherlock is a wax figure in a museum and modern Sherlock is visiting it... and can't recognize "himself". If only John was there to tell him! :)

LOL You're right, his face does look like a wax figure ;)
I was thinking, with the science stuff I bought - I can't have Sherlock perform experiments in coat and scarf, can I? I need to buy a second one and cut off the coat? Oh my.

But if I do, then Benedict can go look at his own wax figure LOL

I also seriously wonder if we ever get a John or others in this line. I'd love to continue buying everyone (it's cheaper than the big ones), imagine a tiny Mrs. Hudson? Awww. But it may be that this was a one-off and also the BBC shop has now closed down.

Maybe he was so busy with something he didn't want to waste time to take it off...? Or you can set it in time when they had no windows after the explosion in The Great Game. They were watching telly in their coats then :) But if you were going to imply he's been working on something the entire day, then yes, it doesn't quite work.

imagine a tiny Mrs. Hudson?
And Lestrade. And imagine a bigger figure of Mycroft looking at them and thinking "everyone looks small to me" :D

Again, you remember way more than I do. Clearly a Sherlock re-watch is in order!

My parents used to watch telly in their coats too. Back in Eastern Germany times when I was a child. They had a used black-and-white TV which always when the most interesting scene of the whole movie happened - the murder usually - cut its picture down to a thin line LOL After a while they found out that it was overheated so they opened the windows to cool it down and sat in their coats. Those were the times... Of of those famous family stores. "Remember when we watched TV in our coats?"

There was a time without TV before that also. They spent the time and amused themselves by drawing animals, who could do it best. My mother drew a duck with four legs LOL

It's really odd that we haven't heard anything about the Big Chief Mycroft recently. Someone said it may be that it was not approved?

Cute.

Shouldn't this shatter some kind of space time continuum? Aren't you supposed to avoid your double lol!

Only if you touch it ;) When Rose held herself as a baby in the first Doctor Who season, all hell broke loose. And then there was the Entropic cascade failure in Stargate...

But yeah, I should have some fun with doppelgangers! I need to warm up yet to the sci-fi part of this. Keep the ideas coming ;) It's a bit sad they don't quite match in height.

oh yes that makes sense. What would happen I wonder if they did touch? ^-^

Size doesn't matter lol...but maybe in a parallel universe one is shorter than the other?
