May 30, 2016 22:38

I made this story as a thank you for someone on Tumblr who always reblogs all my pictures and seems to like Figma. The Thinker is the only Figma figure I own so far but I also have the David and the Venus statue on pre-order. These are awesome, come with several hands and two heads and bodies for many different poses. Check here for more detailed ( Read more... )

Haha, this is hilarious!

Thank you ;) I really just wanted to bring that Figma loving person joy. So I was thinking what I could do with my Thinker. And so one led to the other ;) I love getting inspirations like that.

A while ago I made a story for the thousandth person who liked one of my stories at Tumblr. I looked and apparently she is a fan of the Tenth Doctor and Batman. So I thought about what I could do with these two and this is now one of the best I’ve ever done, I am very proud of it (not sure if we were friends already when I did that): http://dieastra.livejournal.com/188461.html

Also, I totally did not realize that famous sculpture action figures were a thing. O.oI hadn’t realized either! Look, there is now also a figure of that DaVinci man with many legs and arms. I think I'll skip that one, it's too creepy ;) Although from other pictures I see you can put him together normally also:

I actually saw the da Vinci one on Tumblr the other day -- it looks creepy but also pretty awesome!

I was wondering if the Venus would have arms or what, heh.

I can confirm that she has arms and legs! I need to change the upper body so the arms can be attached. But I also have another body in her original form.

Also I just pre-ordered the newst thing, which is two cute little cherubs, this page has several pictures: http://www.goodsmile.info/en/product/5764/figma+Angel+Statues.html
