I'm usually not posting too many fannish news in here, as there are many other places one can get them but this? This is BIG! It's HUGE! And something worth getting excited about ( Read more... )

Very cool! Doctor Who really got me into graphic novels, so this should be great given the collaboration. And you were right... binge watching 13 episodes per season was manageable, but 23 would make my eyeballs swim back into my head. ;)

I have recently bought the comics with the Ninth Doctor, Rose and Jack. Especially in issue number 1 they drew Jack/John really well.

Well, I hope you still continue with Arrow, just on a slower pace! It may take a bit longer but you will get there. It is enjoyable after all. And if something isn't, you can always use the fast forward button. Or ask me if you don't understand something.

You're very welcome! We knew this was coming, he has hinted before, but it's nice to see official and confirmed, and I hadn't realized how big it really was. I thought just one comic probably. Obviously they have worked on this for a while now ( ... )

I've been out of the loop and thus its news [welcome!] to me ;)
that is definitely what I mean by hustle here--always getting things going, really good at coming up with new angles and projects and pushing them into fruition [or trying really hard anyhow].
ya, movie adaptations take forever, so not holding my breath on that one, though i enjoyed the books and think they could work really well on the large or small screen format.

Yeah, it's really sad that the JB community seems to be dead. Where has everyone been gone? Is the problem really that now that John is living in the US, the UK fans have no idea what he is doing? Apparently a lot think he has retired or something ( ... )

Did you pre-order the electronic version or the book version? I want to wait for the book version but it'll be June until I can read it :(

ARGH!

i don't care! TAKE MY MONEY!

That is what biweekly means? I thought twice a week LOL Sorry, translation mistake.
So how long exactly do I have to wait till I can buy the finished comic? 12 parts every two weeks... no, that is too long! I'll kill myself before then. I want my Merlyn fix! And I want to know who he has sex with LOOOOOL This seemed to be very important to John in the interview, as he mentioned it twice.

IS that what they said? biweekly? but yes, that means every 2 weeks :(

and what? you're not gonna read the digital versions first??

dieastra January 10 2016, 09:12:02 UTC
Yes, in the interview linked above, they say indeed bi-weekly. I must have read it too fast and only saw "weekly" and that's why I wrote "once a week".

So that will be a long wait for me. No, I won't bother with the electronical version - I don't want to pay twice for it? Feel free to spoiler me though if you do read it - especially about the "Pain is inevitable..." part.
