AFT Doctor Who: Decorating the Christmas tree

Just a holiday pic to get you all into the right Christmas mood! The Doctor and Martha are decorating, Jack is supposed to hold the ladder but got disctracted by the Doctor's backside.
Last year I won first place in the December competition with this pic in our Facebook group Sixth Scale Universe.

Aw, thank you! That was one of those spur in the moment buys. I was in the supermarket, thinking about what I could use as background, and found this gift wrapping gaze with gold glitter.

I had to take 100 pictures to get the look right. With flash it did not look good, too bright, you couldn't see the tree lights, but with the tree lights alone it was too dark and you could not see the faces. So I needed another light from the side, but not shining directly, as it would have made shadows. I'm very pleased with this, especially since I did it last year with my old camera still. The new one is so much better at pics with low light.

I'm really enjoying your scenes, even though I don't comment every time. Thanks for sharing them. My Nexus took great pictures, but it died for some reason, and now I just have my cell phone. I do have an actual camera somewhere but haven't used it in years. I love my cell phone. LOL
