AFT Doctor Who: "Books"

My entry for the September 2015 competition and the word "books", inspired by the episode "Tooth and Claw". Have you seen this episode quarryquest ? In it Torchwood gets founded by Queen Victoria. There are also Werewolves.

The Doctors looks very academic here, with books and glasses and the suit. As long as we can't see his shoes ;D I love the quote.

I watched the episode again last night to make sure I get it right and he did indeed put on the brainy specs ;)

I did not put a link as it is in a Facebook group where we all post pictures of our figures. The winner picture then gets to become the header of the group till next month. I really wasn't fishing for votes, usually I only post the pics after it's over, but I was just so happy about it that I couldn't wait.

I also won once last year with a Christmas pic I haven't shown yet.

I remember from some commentary (or was it Doctor Who Confidential?) that the specs were was David's idea and he was the one to choose scenes where he could put them on. He was sad about missing an opportunity in "New Earth", I'm sure that moment in the library in "Tooth and Claw" was one of the obvious ones ;)

I don't imply you posted it for votes, I just asked because I'd gladly express my appreciation this way, and I wanted to help, that's all.

I really don't like those black framed glasses though. I mean, on the Doctor they look fine, but recently everony has them, Matt Bomer, John Barrowman... he used to have nice small frameless glasses which I liked much better.
