the next batman movie is going to SUCK.
johnny depp as the riddler (how predictable) and theyre going to put ROBIN in it. 
why ruin a good thing with fucking ROBIN: the GAYEST sidekick on in comic book history?

My opinion is that they leave it where it is since Heath Ledger's death. However, the original plans were for a trilogy and I guess they want to carry through with that because of the contract and billions of dollars, etc.

I just think it's stupid that they're using the Riddler in the last movie to begin with. Honestly they should have saved the Joker for last and gone out with a bang rather than use up the biggest and most well known Batman villain half way through. But Chistopher Nolan said that he didn't want to use any of the supernatural villians in his movies, so that knocks out a good chunk of other possibilities. And as long as they don't pull a Catwoman I won't complain too hard.

But really I want to believe that Johnny Depp can pull off the Riddler because I want to believe that Nolan can pull off another movie. Even though I grew up on the horrible Batman movies and I honestly can't see anyone BUT Jim Carrey play the role, I really want to see what Nolan can do with it. Plus I feel like somewhere along the line when Johnny got like super-fucking-duper famous it became unpopular to think, "Yes, Johnny Depp is going to play this role!" Honestly, I never lost the opinion that he was a good actor, even if Pirates 3 sucked donkey dick. I dunno, I think (I hope) they could probably pull it off between the two of them. (I mean, no one expected Ra's Al Ghul to be as much of a badass as he was, so hey.)

I'm totally against the whole Robin bullshit though. Honestly, nothing can make that kid cool.

well i wasnt expecting them to perpetuate the roll of the joker or anything (i thought they shoul have left it as well)but the riddler has always been the "walmart brand" joker to me. and while i do believe that johnny depp is a phenomenal actor, i am WAY sick of seing him in the same old "dark, mysterious, cooky, culty" roles. tim burton has just totally overused the guy. but i'll be the first to say "oh shit, nevermind" when he fails to completely blow ass like he did in sweeney todd.

though there is talk (nyurrrr) of two-face magically re-appearing...since, you know, he wasn't EVEN supposed to die that early in the fist place.

It feels like their original plan was to kill off two-face and leave the joker behind to reuse, but when ledger died it was sort of a mad scramble to make two-face not... completely dead. Since you don't ACTUALLY see is dead and decaying corpse. I dunno, I'd rather they bring him back than the Riddler. Or you know, bring him back on top of the Riddler.

But Joker and Riddler are subtly different. If they tagged by their own identity disorders then Joker would be a sociopath while Riddler would be obsessive compulsive. I dunno, they never took Riddler's character very far in that direction in the films or the wb cartoon, I think, so maybe there's room for him. But yeah overall Two-Face's story > Riddler, imo.

i dunno, i guess we'll see...depp gets into his roles and he knows what he has to live up to and im willing to bet that two-face returns.

as long as there's no robin...
