My infatuation with all things English is steadily growing. I can't get enough of the Queen this week. It's really weird. Normally I don't give a crap about any 'celebrities' or anyone relatively famous outside of what they do that makes them famous- (Athletes in sports, Actors in movies, etc). However, I just can't seem to stop checking Google News for Queenie Updates.
Even worse, a plumber who stops by my office every now and then had some English cookies called 'Digestives' shipped from his family in London. They're delicious. They're like chocolate covered sugar cookies. This chocolate is unlike any I've ever had. It's not too sweet, yet not too bitter.
And lastly, there's, of course, the cheesy accent that surfaces every time my friends and I get a few drinks down. If anyone knows of and can give me a website where I can look up English Slang, I'd be eternally greatful.
