In Mother Russia, remote controls you!

Gears of War is absolutely breathtaking. It solely justified the $400 purchase of the Xbox 360. The $600 Playstation 3, on the other hand I cannot even begin to rationalize. buy me one.

1. Who the hell are you? (lol)
2. I was oogling-and-googling over Resistance earlier this week. It does look splendid...
3. the MUCH larger HDD is an enticing prospect to be sure but I'm not sure that, nor the HD compatability factor, considering most TV's (mine included) don't even support 1080p yet, justfify the price tag. The fact is, 720p beats 1080i hands down and MicroSoft has plans to release a new, larger HDD although I'm not certain of the storage capacity.
4. Controllers; I'm amazed at the technology Sony pumped in to theirs, but I simply cannot part with my rumble function. I remember seeing an article in which Sony's European Branch CEO David Reeves or Reeve, or maybe that's not his name at all, said they could have included a rumble feature but it would have cost too much money, or something to that effect. Too expensive? As opposed to what?
5. Backwards Compatability- not a huge issue with me as I owned a PS2 for about 2 weeks and promptly got rid of it for an Xbox. Also, I buy a NEW system to play NEW games, not previously purchased ones- :)
