mmmmm Well I am enjoying my day the F off O YEAH man! 5 DAY WEEKEND!
Last few days have been really sweet to me. Besides my problems with some gurl, my life is nice. I had practice with my band and our new guitarist. Bobby Hoffman. The kid is Amazing. We wrote a song and I really like it. It is really hardcore. I dont know if I want to do all out hardcore all the time with this band cause I am not only into hardcore. I think I want some tunes to have a lot of singing instead of all screaming and I dont want all the songs to be all hardcore music all the time. I dont know. We will figure it out. And you people will listen to it....and love it. Bans 4 Cans was sooooo sweet....sept the fucking AV (audio visual) Kids that gave me hell the whole night. You see they were afraid off Matty Mcdougle "who wouldnt be" and so they decided to come to me and bitch about...everything.
I walk in early and some of the bands are showing up. The AV kids are already there and setting up. Matt Mcoubry is running it so they cant mess up. But Matt has to leave for like a half an hour and the Av kids fall apart without him. They set the AV table up facing the wrong way. Facing AWAY from the bands...then they try to tell me to make the bands play in a different place....nah. Then they put the fucking cameras directly infront of the bands sets and so......they get knocked down and so....they bitch at me. Chords are being ripped out by peoples feet...the AV kids are being Fucks to all the bands, especially Mike D (poor wittle guy). Then Matty Mcdoo shows up right at the same time that Matt Mcoubry gets back so the AV kids go back to their corners and leave me alone. Everything is going great. No problems except some douche bag slapped some gurl (which is wicked pussy of him) and he get arrested. God I love live Local music. I dont really care what kind most of the time. I had sooo much fun just standing and listening. But I was really jealous of all the bands cause I REALLY REALLY wanted to play.Then Mat Mcoubry leaves again and Matt Mcdoo has to set up The Far Reaches (who were Unbelievable!) and I go to turn off the lights so The Far Reaches stage set which, were Christmas lights, would look cool (which they did). As I go to turn off the lights AV MAN comes over and starts to bitch at me. He runs off. Comes back bitches some more. Leaves. Comes back and calls me an EMO Kid and then walks off. I said something back to him after he called me an EMO Kid and I think I insulted him cause he avoided me for the rest of the night.After that Matt Mcoubry came back and the AV kids shut the HELL UP for the rest of the night. Those kids would fall apart without Matt Mcoubry. And now the KICKER
THE TAPE WAS NEVER RECORDING!!! SO THE TAPE THEY WERE BITCHING FOR!! WASNT EVEN MADE IN THE END!!!
That was the funniest part of the night...
Other than the AV Kids. I had SOOOOO much fun doing it. I really really really appreciate Matt Mcdoo letting me take over next year and letting me help this year. All the bands were wicked good too.
Congrats to The Far Reaches on their first show being fucking amazing and same thing to The Street Light Years. Arwen you know you were good like always. Man that was a great night.
I really miss shows..there arent any around here now that The Summit is gone. It sucks. I havent seen Faraway or The Cadence or Ambry (even though Ambry is taking a break to write) in soooooooooo long. I miss it. And the other shows I love to go to are Arwen shows. BUT!! They havent been showing it up lately cause they are writing new material too. Bans 4 Cans was my first show in 2 months. WE NEED SHOWS!!!!! WE NEED SOME MASSHOLE BANDS UP HERE SOON!!!
