I know I said I'm sorry, but that's not what I meant to say

So yesterday was pretty much a completely sucky day.
It starts off with a fight between me and this other grad student, Dan. It really made me upset, and we haven't talked since yesterday morning, which is pretty impressive since we have to share an office now because of the flood.
I will discuss the flood in a little bit.
So he's pissed at me and I'm pissed at him. Not fun.
Then I found out that Caitlin got a summer job that I really really really wanted. There were 3 spots open, and she got an interview and I didn't. Then yesterday she found out she got one of the spots. I'm not mad at her, obviously. Just jealous. Bill and I both applied and neither of us got an interview. I'm slightly confused as to why, since we both actually have more experience with what the job entails than she does. But she does have a degree in education, so maybe that was the deciding factor. But still, I'm confused as to why neither of us even got an interview! Damn.
Then I get back from lunch and find out my computer has mutinied against me. My old one that I leave in the office, not my new one, which is what I'm typing on right now. It won't let me connect to the internet, it won't let me copy or paste anything, and the task bar and start menu look like it did back with Windows 97 or something. So it took me about an hour to save my homeworks onto a USB, because I had to re-open them in Winshell and then re-save them (since I couldn't copy and paste them...), and my computer was going SO SLOW. I don't know what I'm going to do about that... my students' grades are on there, I hope I can get them off there later today...
And to top it off, I got home and broke a glass cup.

The Flood:
During spring break, our office flooded slightly (just like, a damp floor). And then the Tuesday after spring break, that week it was downpouring and the Warwick Mall died, our office flooded again. There was an inch of water on the carpet when I got there, and we all had to move our stuff out and into the hall.
They wet-vac-ed the carpets and everything, but then it started flooding again. And we had to move out even more shit (like the furniture and everything).
To make a long story short, everyone from my suite of offices (15 grad students and faculty) had to move out of our offices and find "temporary" offices. They have ripped the carpet out and taken down the bottom foot or so of the dry-walls between offices in the suite.
I am now in a small classroom that has been converted to an office with Caitlin, Mike, and Dan. Caitlin and I miss our office very very much. We are stuck with boys all day long, we used to have a place in which we could kick them out, and now we can't.
On the bright side, there used to be two review sessions in our "office" and they got moved, since we took it over. I <3 having power. Hahaha.

Ugh, I'm just so mad at Dan right now.
Oh, ps: did I mention before that Zak likes me? He just successfully defended his thesis and is getting this Ph.D. come graduation. I'm pretty sure he's like me for a while now. Ever since way back when he asked Bill and I if we were dating (I had so wished I could have said yes! Grrr)
Right before Zak's defense on Friday, Dan asked me if I find Zak attractive. I told him no, which is the truth. He's a nice guy, but there isn't anything there at all.
So anyway, we were all over Bill's celebrating Zak's defense that night when Zak's really good friend, and also math grad student, Manos (he's from Greece) sat on the couch with me and told me I should date Zak because he likes me and we both need to have pretty much a fling. I told him I couldn't because I'm still hung up on someone, and his first guess was Dan! I was like, ummmm no, that would be negative.
So I thought that was kinda funny/awkward.
