i've considered adding a link to livejournal on my facebook page, but that's just a really stupid idea isn't it? if one were so inclined they could find all the stupid crap i freak out about w/just a few clicks BUT it would remind me to update more often & w/more enthusiasm than cheesy stat one liners... your thoughts?!
i also want to delete my myspace account but like alot of my old blogs, despite the fact that most only prove the point i'm a budding sociopath. maybe i should copy & paste them here??? idk. so much of myself is posted somewhere on the internet i hate it. i barely write in a journal these days & my handwriting is starting to suffer from it, not that my handwriting was ever any good... my typing skills pretty much suck as well.
i have another online social network that i'd rather not get into detail about. some of you know what i'm talking about. i haven't written much on it & had every intention of deleting it & filing it as another failed medium of self expression. a few days ago out of boredom & after having not been on the site for a great deal of time i stumble on one of my friends blogs. he actually wrote about me & some others he has meet through that site & how he feels like a failure for their (my) disappearances even after he's given them loads of advice/support. i felt like a dick & wrote him back.
i should be doing alot of other things right now, unsurprisingly, but have so many thoughts bouncing around my hollow fat head i had to dump it somewhere.
first off: i've recently come to understand why i've chosen economics, or really created a somewhat viable reason why i'm not changing it again other than time constraints.
1) economists are pessimist at heart. they always look for something wrong in the world in order to research it.
& 2) economists are capable of working alone & tend to prefer it.
the ones i've spoken to only really coauthor anything as a critique or need a fresh set of eyes since they're clearly going crazy.
