summer is off to a great start!
Today was good. I love summer. I really love warm weather all the way until nighttime; I love how nighttime is way shorter than daytime. I love hanging with my boyfriend. I love the beach, family, little kids, lots of things. I wish my camera was fixed so I could take pictures of things. I shoulda just brought my normal camera. It's pretty sweet. I also wish I would've brought a notebook & a pen so I could've just written my thoughts down today. I just like to think & be quiet sometimes when driving. I was thanking God today for giving me eyes that please me with seeing such simple sights like pretty flowers and open fields and the sand between my toes. It just gives me a greater joy than most things do. I love driving on Seaboard. Pungo is sweet yo. I got to meet Billy's family. They are pretty cool. We also went to Billy's stepdad's house to make sure he was doing okay with all that is going down. So yeah, today was eventful & I had lots of fun.
OH YEAH! I got to go to church! That was definitely the best part by far. I've decided that I need to work on getting deeper in my faith. Billy and I were discussing at the beach today how we need to find new youth groups because it is time to move on. Ours aren't bad, it's just that we've already passed the level that our youths teach at, and we aren't growing anymore. And since there's no such thing as a "standstill" in faith, I must be moving backwards. (I heard that in a talk once and it made sense--you're either moving forward towards God or the devil is pulling you backwards, like tug-o-war) And I kinda feel that way too sometimes. I just need to spend more time in the Bible; I'm really bad about that. I never know where to start & then I just get lazy and the devil wins. Not what I want to do. I also want to pray the rosary more often. I also need to stop waiting til college and start going to daily mass. But really I need a friend who will motivate me & do it with me. Yeahh.
So yeah, tomorrow will be fun. Tomorrow night at least. I work open to 4...long day. Afterwards, we are going out for Jesica's birthday. I wish I could've had more time to make her something real cool. But yeah, hopefully I'll have time after work gets out to get her something. It was kinda cool- a card she wrote me in the last RWJ polanka letters that was really awesome... I found it chillen on my shelf and I read it again. It made me happy :] Praise God for working wonders all the time and letting me in on some of them!
Okay so it is 11:00 and I have to get up early...so peace out all <3
