Calm
While Sean went to work, Jeff and Alyssa and I went on a pre-race run through Bexley, Ohio - Sean and Jeff's hometown. Jeff's natural talent combined with Alyssa's hard work made it hard to keep up, but I stuck it out. As always, I figured that if I can take this pain, tomorrow's pain will be a little easier.
But running with former teammates again felt good. It brought back a flood of memories of times I ran through all sorts of pains, and toughed out all sorts of injuries. There's no way I'm going soft now.
When Sean gets back, we're going to start hydrating and carbing up. Then, tomorrow's the big day.
