It’s been such a long time since I updated. I have had a few
more days off since the last post. The main one because the pool at the YMCA
broke and no one could swim for almost a week. I can't believe that it is
already almost Christmas. Last Saturday I went to Tricia's graduation party. It
was really nice to do something other than work. Last week seemed to have more
of a social life than I have had in awhile. I went to see Harry Potter again
with Sarah and Peter.The first I saw it was on opening weekend with
Sarah and Tricia. Then on Friday I went to see The Lion the Witch and
the Wardrobe with a guy from work at the YMCA. Then Saturday was Tricia's party. The
week started on Sunday with a 9 hour shift at Fred Meyer, today I was there
for 4 hours then an hour and a half at the Y. Tomorrow I am at the Y all day.
I am thinking of quitting my Job at Fred Meyer. I am really not enjoying the work or the people I am working with. I don't know if I should stick it out and hope that it will get better. Or stick it out and look hard for a new job, or just quit now and look for a new job. In some ways it would be nice to have some time off. I could still be working about 30 hours a week if I pick up more hours at the YMCA. The only problem is that I get paid 10 cents less at the Y, have to pay for parking downtown and only get paid once a month. But at the Y I like the people I am working with. At Fred Meyer there are only I few people I like and I am not really enjoying the work that I am doing. I don't know what I am going to do, but would welcome any comments or advice anyone has.
