Character Information
Name: Amy Jessica Pond
Fandom: Doctor Who
Timeline Summary: Taken from the end of 6X04 (Which technically means she’s Flesh, although she’s still very much Amy Pond in appearance and personality.)
Personality:
Amy Pond is the girl who didn't make sense; the girl who stayed up all night in her garden, waiting for her magical doctor to return. And throughout her childhood, no matter what, she still believed in him. Even on her wedding day as a grown woman, she still had faith in her Raggedy Doctor. One of Amy's strongest qualities is her ability to believe. She never gives up and always stands for what she thinks right, never letting anything get in her way. Amy is strong and defiant when it comes to things she believes in and if there's one thing she will always believe in, it's the Doctor.
When it comes to speaking out, Amy can sometimes be very brash and bold. She likes to speak her mind and give her opinion on things and can often be very sarcastic. It's not unlike her to make a joke or say something sarcastic to try and lighten the mood in times of danger. She is very confident and brave and carries around a "I do what I want" attitude with her. Amy usually has her own ideas as to how things will go so if you tell her to not wander off? Yeah, don't count on it.
Amy Pond could definitely be described as being a bit of a flirt. During series five, although engaged to be married to Rory Williams (now Pond) she continued to flirt with a lot of the people she met on her travels. In fact she has also tried her moves on the Doctor on a few occasions, the most notable being when she pinned him up against the TARDIS and tried to kiss him. And the fact that her wardrobe contains many short skirts and kissogram outfits, but they're only used when Rory's around. However, during the course of series six her relationship with Rory has gone from strength to strength and her friendship with the Doctor is also stronger than ever. While she is still very much flirty Amy Pond, now that she is married she has settled down a little bit. Although that doesn't mean the short skirts are put away, nor does it mean she won't use her charm on Rory. Her and her husband do like to have fun...
How she gets along with others - When meeting new people Amy can sometimes be a little wary although when you're travelling with the Doctor, most of the new people you meet are aliens so it's a little understandable. She trusts nobody more than she trusts the Doctor and Rory, although that doesn't mean she won't make an effort to befriend people unless they're hostile towards her. Since the Doctor is usually a fountain of knowledge when it comes to new creatures, her first reaction is always to turn to him. If he's not around however, she'll try her best to find out about them herself whether alien or human - asking lots of questions is one of her favourite pastimes.
Abilities - Amy doesn't have a whole load of skills to show off (although she makes up for it with her sheer determination) but she, like the rest of the companions who have travelled with the Doctor, is exceptionally good at running. She's also handy at picking a lock with a hairpin, which can come in useful at times. And her short skirts can also definitely be pretty useful - Amy is a master at using her flirtiness to charm people.
Likes - Her boys and her spaceship. Material things don't matter as much (although she's a huge fan of plaid shirts and short skirts) because as long as she has Rory, the Doctor and the ability to travel in time and space, she's happy. She loves the danger and the thrill and although one day her and Rory will settle down, right now it's all about the adventure.
Dislikes - There are a whole list of different aliens that she dislikes, mostly because they've tried to kill her somehow and that really puts a girl off a species. However she also dislikes rudeness (which is a little hypocritical of her sometimes) whether in humans or in aliens. And don't even get her started on fezzes and bowties. While she adores the Doctor, his sense in fashion is a little out there. Although she does admit that he wouldn't be the Doctor without it.

First Person: [Voice]
Blimey, what is this thing then? Is it some sort of... space walkie-talkie? [Frowns at the device and presses a few buttons, not sure what they actually do.]
Hello? HELLOOOO? [Her voice comes out too loud and she winces.] Little bit more high tech than my old mobile, that’s for sure.
Third Person:
Amy tapped her foot impatiently against the glass floor of the TARDIS, letting out an exasperated sigh. There was a planet out there- a whole brand new planet! -and she was so ready to explore but what was the Doctor doing? That was a good question actually, what was he up to? Approximately twelve minutes ago he had popped his head up from under the console and announced that he had to do something. Vague as ever, of course. And Amy was left waiting impatiently for him to return, itching to open up the TARDIS doors and go and explore by herself.
She sighed again.
Deciding that anything was more interesting that just waiting and staring at the doors, she strode over to the center of the room and beamed up at the familiar blue central column. Home. Her fingers idly traced over all the different handles and levers and she grinned, all impatience forgotten.
Upstairs (or somewhere from her right - you could never tell what was where in the TARDIS) there was a loud banging, crashing sound and a yelp. Amy swivelled around, suddenly alert. A few seconds later there was a cry of, "I’m fine!" and she couldn’t help but let out a fond laugh.
"How much do you bet he’s off to find some sort of ridiculous head gear?" she said, turning back to look at the console. She could have sworn that she heard a little sound of agreement come from it-- her. She sometimes had to remind herself that the TARDIS was most definitely sentient. Amy grins again and gently pats the console. "Oh boy, I’m turning into him, aren’t I? First the talking to the machine, next’ll be the bowtie. God help me."
She’s interrupted from her thoughts by the sound of boots thudding against the stairs as the Doctor makes his way back into the console room. Amy takes on look at him, grimaces and then says, "No. Doctor, you are not going out wearing a propeller hat."
