Back to his roots.
He had set up this little trip, seeing maybe his wife needed a change of scenery. He was doing everything he could to try and help her get herself back. They had arrived early and had checked in and relaxed for a bit. He took her out for a run running into people he used to know. He decided to get the gym done early so he could take her out later. It was a small place, private. Not one of those huge fancy gyms. Holding the door open they walked in when a voice sounded out.
"Holy hell the world must be ending. Little Johnny Doggett is back in town."
John just groaned at that and looked at an older man.
"I'm not so little anymore."
"I'd still kick your ass boy."
John chuckled and went to introduce Stark to him.
"I see you brought that pretty girl you were smitten with."
John shook his head damn glad he was actually with Stark or he'd be trying to hide at the moment.
"Stark this is Joe Moriarty, my old boxing coach."
