I just heard it on the radio [B97]. Tons of memories came to my mind. Happy memories. we were crazy girls!
out of all the time peirods of my life, my freshman year of college will ALWAYS be my favorite. I can't seem to walk away from it. I try sometimes not to live in the past.. but it's so hard because it was SO fun. It was a learning experience. It was me finding myself. It was me being "independent". It was finding bestfriends.
i saw yogi at mules a while back, "Shake that ass" came on. I yelled over to him, "Yogi.. this remind you of freshman year??" he looked at me with a smile ear to ear and said, "hell yea, that was the best time of my life...... BY FAR the best time of my life!" ha, i guess the fun wasn't limited to us girls. Class of '07 [we all SHOULD be graduating this year!], was the best class to ever come to SLU. we rocked the house... and the dorms, and the clubs.. hehe.

We came from many places
With so many new faces
It was scary at first
The first few days were the worst.
It was an honors dorm
In school we needed to perform
Slowly we made friends
But we said goodbye on the weekends
Monday through friday was our bonding days
Remember when the guys baked salmon fillets?!
Our specialties were Ramon Noodles and Easy Mac
Every moment was a Kodak
The 1st floor was the place to be
Our doors were never closed- no need for a key
You could always find us together around town
Everywhere from the caf- to improv to downtown
Britney's Toxic rule our radios
During the bikini contest some of us lost our halos.
Videos were made
So the memories would not fade
We never wanted to forget our drunken talks
The nights when we basically passed out on the sidewalks
or helping each other through the toughest of times
we stayed up way past our bedtimes
Along our way we forgot about school
Missing class and breaking rules
but some how we survived 2004
Most of us went on to be sophmores
We'll never forget that year
nor forget the friends that were so sincere!
