New layout... kinda
As you all may be able to see - or care to notice - I have been tweaking my journal a bit. Now, a header is in the making, and I am having a bit, okay a lot of trouble with the colors, but I think it is comming along quite nicely. With the help of Kate and Gina I was able to get everything done here done in 10 minutes (However, a ton of things that are not here took 5 hours of on again off again working on before I realized I was in over my head.)
You see, I was changing the colors... I selected "custom colors" and I opened up Macromedia's Fireworks so I coud see the little colorchart that Photoshop doesn't have (as far as I know anyway, I haven't been using it long.) The thing is, that the colors wouldn't save... so I edited all of the colors manually in the overrides, which was all well and good, till I discovered that there was no place (as far as I could tell anyway) to change the background color. Now, this was a problem as the whole scheme is based on the background being a certain color, and the header doesn't really go with anyother color either, but it isn't finished anyway because this thing made me want to rip my hair out!!! The only thing that is a major change here that may give you a glimpse as to what will come is the comments link "whisper in my ear." I changed everything properly, 'cept I really wanted to make the comments link under the friends page to say "whisper in their ear." That however, is a seperate rant...
Ummm, well look for the perdy new scheme to be up someday, and if you have anything that can help me, for the love of me post a comment!!!!!!
