Birthdays, Sports, and a Quiz!

Happy Belated Birthday to fonny!!!!

I'm sure I missed some others, but dear fonny shares a birthday with my hub, so I can never forget. :)) I hope this year brings with it many wonderful people, places, and experiences to your life. I'm so glad I got to meet you last year, and I hope we can meet again one day for delicious dessert and conversation.

My weekend was filled with sports, sports, sports. I watched both the Germany and Portugal match and the final with France and Italy. I'm glad the World Cup is over, but I have to say, I really enjoyed watching this year. I'm of the opinion that Meterazzi probably did make a racial/ethnic slur to Zidane, but I know that other people will probably disagree. We'll never really know, and Zidane's reaction was wrong regardless of what was said. Congratulations to Italy!

Wimbledon was awesome this year. I woke up a bit early to catch the Federer/Nadal match, and I was not disappointed. Nadal fought till the very end, although he started off badly. I was rooting for him, but I'm also happy for Federer -- he deserved it. I'm going to follow this rivalry very closely from now on! Tennis is such a classy sport. I love how the crowd (even the family members) cheer for good shots, regardless of who makes them.

Now, a little sorting test 'cause I'm a sheep.

As Viktor you are brave, daring and have a thirst for adventure, with a particularly fondness for all things sporting.

Vickie? Hmph.

Also, I have a phone interview for a job in DC on Thursday. I'm not expecting anything, but it's a pretty interesting job and very similar to what I do. I almost feel unqualified though. It's all so scary!
