We went to Chi-town 2 weekends ago for the Inkin' Lincoln Tattoo Convention, and I'm finally getting time to post pics! Enjoy!

We went shopping to get food as soon as we got to Lincolnshire...Dominicks doesn't like tattooed freaks...

Sarah and I HAD to get coffee before we died.

oh yeah we're out of the car!

The DS booth, busy of course!

Lookin at pics

Bailey's arm before...

Ooh...feels good.

Chris hard at work (you can almost see the skin splitting!)

Chris is having waaay too much fun!

Sweet Gargoyle dude...

Insert waaay too cute of Austin and I

Austin loves the ladies

You'd think, after all those years on MTV, Serena Altchul (sp?) would know how to make a metal face...no metal face for Serena.

This is what Sarah thinks of Serena and her shitty metal face.

This is what Austin and Sarah think of stupid annoying men with no teeth and a microphone.

This is what the judges think of Chris Bettley...5th place men's large color, 5th place women's medium color, 4th place women's medium color, 1st place women's medium color...(yeah I know I'm not in the picture...no awards for Nicole's pieces)

After the convention on Saturday, we decided to go to Chi-town and shop/eat/live it up. To get everyone pumped up and ready to go I put some P!ATD on and got ready to rock. 1 song in, we hit a 3 and a half hour traffic jam...These are the pictures.

I was singing along...

Austin plays drums so good it hurts...

Bailey likes it!

What Sarah thinks of Panic!

Traffic Sucks

Must keep ourselves entertained...

So that's what a moonroof is for!

The map that saved our asses!

This sign was everywhere...Apparantly you need to look out for senior citizens...they're on the loose.

We finally got to Chicago, almost died, and then dropped Sarah off for the Social Distortion concert. And then there were 3. We spent the rest of the night walking around the Miracle Mile or whatever it's called, buying some sweet vinyl from the Virgin Mega Store, finding out where "kids like us" hang out, eating pizza, spending $30 on parking, and walking around Belmont Street finally finding a bar that wasn't packed with Cubs fans.

On our way down to Chi-town Sunday afternoon

Yeah we're still this hot after walking 30 city blocks in intense heat!

This concludes our trip. Austin and I decided we would return to Chicago if money permits for our 2 year anniversary in February. Yay!
