Well.
It's been a while hasn't it?
Yesterday at work, Ash left. It was very sad. And even more embarrassing.
Here's why:
I bought Ash a crappy little cake because I didn't know what to get him and also, I have little to no money. I tried though, I thought it was quite sweet. The boss came in at dinnertime holding two massive boxes of stuff and a bag. They were full of uni stuff, beer, condoms, cup-a-soups and mints ... the list goes on. I knew about it but I thought it was from Sheena and Maureen. It turned out that it was actually from everyone but me. I wouldn't mind, I haven't been there long, but neither has Maureen. And Mandy and Karon barely know him apparently. :(
I had a lot of fun with Ash, I have a lot of respect for him and he's such a great person - that's why it bothered me so much that I hadn't been asked to chip in with it. I guess it's over now though.
I left him a message on myspace, with the intentions of a) letting him get an idea of how much I think of him, b) not looking like a stalker and c) hoping he'd forgot I ever got him anything. Seriously, nothing is better than a crappy thing. He doesn't even like cakes I don't think. However, the message seemed to be ok because I got this reply:
Ahhhh that nearly raised a tear, nearly is a good effort trust me!
I'll see you soon i'm sure i'll be back before christmas begging for a job lol!
Your a great gal and i couldn't find a bad word to say about you if i tried (and trust me i have)
Hope i see you around and good luck (don't really need it i'm sure but it's a figure of speech!)
Lv Brownie (Ash)
Sigh. I don't know how I feel about work anymore. I only ever enjoyed it when it was just me and Sheena or I was with Ash. Only because I don't seem to connect with Maureen and I haven't met any of the others properly yet.
Well, there's always the Christmas visits to look forward to, if he remembers us!
On other matters, there's been a massive fuck-up with Paris, and I would type it all out but it's rather a long story that starts with no accomodation and ending with ringing round France for some.
Mother bought me a travel documents holder to celebrate the occasion: it's pink and holds passports and money and stuff. It's sexy. :D
I now have a DS. I found all my old Advance games out and have been playing Sims Bustin' Out for aaaages. Until I found the relaxing game on More Brain Training - Germ Buster - which is so addictive.
Going further into the past, I got very good results in August; 4 A's, a Merit in Critical Thinking and A* in Spanish GCSE. I can't remember a thing about Spanish apart from the pronunciation! Ha. Dora the Explora I ain't.
Finally, and most importantly, we have scented loo roll. Scented loo roll. Who the hell has scented loo roll?! I'm not sure it's healthy for "down there" to be wiped with scented loo roll. It quite disturbs me. And you feel compelled to smell the scented loo roll [BEFORE] to see what it's like. It's just a big no-no.
Anyway, I have nothing more to say except: Au revoir.
