How many of you think it's downright blasphemous that SMAP hasn't hit a million plays on it yet?
I've talked to a few ppl already about the idea of a Play Day. We need mucho more to make a difference. If you're interested, drop a line so I can get a better idea of how many people would participate. ♥♥♥
NOW WHO'S WITH ME?
★ What's your name/nickname? Dictionarysays, Blaine, homie, I go by anything~
★ Did you start to like SMAP before you reached 20 years or after 20? I was exactly 20, actually.
★ How long have you been in the SMAP fandom? Since May 2010, so it's been a little over a year now, yay.
★ What triggered your love for SMAP? Utaban, I suppose? I watched an episode they appeared on during their Fly promo days and never turned back and to think I had no idea Nakai was even in a group despite loving the show.
★ Who is your favourite member? Hiro-chan obviously (except for the fact I, like, never call him that unless I'm feeling affectionate or mean xDD).
★ Why is he your ichiban? Omg, where to start? He is absolutely hilarious and is a professional through and through. He's also ridiculously gorgeous and his skin is literally flawless. He works a hat like no other, and despite not having the greatest voice, there are times where he just sings with so much heart that I just can't help but want to give him a grammy. I could go on but no. |D;;
★ Did you have another favourite member in the past? I did, in fact. It was Shingo, but Nakai-bb came out of nowhere and sneakily dethroned the dood. He'll always have a special place in my heart and there are too many days where I think I have two ichibans anyway.
★ Do your friends and family know your love for SMAP? My family and friends in general know I love Asian things, and singers are a part of it. I don't think my parents would recognize a face/song/etcetc., but they get the gist. I got my brother into SMAP unconsciously and he ends up humming Shake or Arigatou more times then he'd care to admit. My cousin is as bad as I am in terms of the asian invasion, so she experiences me in full-blown SMAP mode the most, lol.
★ Have you ever done any translation or a website dedicated to SMAP? Japanese and I aren't exactly on speaking-terms, but I've made a few comms, help with subs, doing as much as I can for SMAP'dom because it's the 'least I can do in return for how awesome the fandom's been. ♥
★ Which member do you think resembles you more? I'm gonna' assume you're talking personality here and say, Nakai, no doubt. Still surprises me he's my bias too, since aren't you supposed to not like ppl who are similar to you?
★ Have you ever attended their concert? You wouldn't have to ask that if I had.
★ Have you ever eaten in 'La Bonita', Kimura's restaurant? Unfortunately, nope. But I've seen pictures!
★ Have you ever waited for SMAP at the studio door? I'd have to be in Japan to do that, wouldn't I? ;A;

★ Have you ever bought a SMAP drama (or starring one of the members)? I have not. But I did nearly buy Mr. Brain & Karei-naru (and by nearly, I mean, I was literally at the register, cash in my hands, before getting cold feet because, yanno, it's like i'm getting married).
★ Have you ever bought a SMAP album? No, but it's not because I haven't tried! The store had every other Johnny's (like HSJ, aaaall of Uhrashee's singles and even V6's tours!), but not a single SMAP. And I need a credit card and money for online. DD8
★ Have you ever bought a SMAP concert DVD? No, and srsly, I'm sensing a pattern here. :/
★ Any particular thing related to SMAP you want to buy? Besides any and every album of theirs imaginable? Hmm, I regret not buying Karei-naru so maybe that, I'd love to own SMAP 002, Pop Up/Sample Bang/S.M.A.P. DVD, the SMAP magazine, SMAP shop hankerchief... yeah, you get the gist.
★ Your favourite SMAP song? Are you crazy? I don't ever truly have favourites because I'm incredibly indecisive, and really, it's more like tiers of Songs I can play on repeat forever, Songs I can listen to once in a while when I'm in the mood, etcetc. /tl;dr At the top of my head, though, songs like Teenage Blue, Trouble, Sona Mama, Ieba Yokatta, Fly, Orange, It's a wonderful world., Nakitai Kimochi, Sotto Kyutto, Slicker's Blues, Jara Jara JAPAN~for the Japanese~ (among A LOT OF OTHERS) are noteworthy. :DD
★ Your favourite SMAP album? SMAP 002, hands down. I just looooove the feel of that album, it reiterates my love for the 50's.
★ Your favourite SMAP concert? Ugggh. I'm torn between Pop Up and S.M.A.P because Super. Modern was my first, but Pop Up is just so fun. Keep in mind I haven't watched that many either, eheheh.
★ Your favourite SMAP cm? Smapbank Softbank New York, all the Rooftops--I'm a sucker for the boys sitting around.
★ Your favourite SMAP variety show? SMAPxSMAP. Although Utaban will forever be legendary in my heart.
★ Did you start to learn Japanese because of SMAP? Nah, been interested in the language since, like, kindergarten. Still haven't learnt it yet though, ahaha. xDD
★ Did you start to learn Korean because of Tsuyoshi? Nope, but I've always ridiculously loved the sound of the language itself since about middle school, where many of friends were Korean. I wanna' make passionate love with their silent letters.
★ Did you start to like any other Johnny’s group because of SMAP? Nope, I was actually an Uhrashee fangirl first, before I got into the boys. But SMAP became my bias rather quickly, and will stay that way. 8Dbb
★ Did you start to like cats because of Goro? I'm more of a dog-lover, myself. But that doesn't stop me from making Poodle-chan loves pussy jokes. ;DD
★ Did you start to like baseball because of Nakai? Naw, grew up with baseball, so I already loved the sport. Don't follow it as much as I used to though, sadly.
★ Did you start to like mayonnaise because of Shingo? Pahahah, you should watch the homevideos of me as a pipsqueak just chugging down the jars/bottles of mayo in the middle of the night.

★ Your favourite thing about Nakai? Ooooh, an excuse to continue my praise~ I loveloveLOVE his thighs. Like, srsly, they're the eighth wonder of the world. But my favourite thing about him? Since that's a little shallow--actually! My favourite thing about him would be the gap between who he is on TV and how he's really like IRL. I respect that and how much work he does behind the scenes, despite never willing to admit it and remaining modest. He's a sweetheart at the end of the day.
★ Your favourite thing about Kimura? Pshaw, that's easy. His laugh. It is honest-to-goodness the dorkiest thing to have ever come out of Japan and I love it so hard.
★ Your favourite thing about Goro? How giddy he gets sometimes alongside his tendency to say out loud what's on everybody's minds. <4444 Speaking of which, I am loving his recent image change, I think it's about time he shed that cool/quiet/chic/not really who he is image and show us the real Poodle-chan. Who is very dorky and giddy AND FUNNY. :DD
★ Your favourite thing about Tsuyoshi? Oh goood, his Tsuyopon-ness. I honestly don't have a single bad thing to say about this man. I can discuss the faults of the others, even Nakai-bb, but Tsuyopon? I've got nothing I can't even complain about his past drinking issues. I just think he's one of the most sweet, gentle, genuine, adorable people in the biz. Don't even get me started on his cheekbones and uncanny ability to KY the shit out of everything. 89
★ Your favourite thing about Shingo? Omg, what isn't there to love about this man? My loins wanna' say his blonde phases, but everything else sorta wants to say his good-nature, his smile!, his flexibility because dear god, that man has played everything and everyone under the sun; his voice personally I think it's the best in the group; the way he plays the role of puppet-master with Tsuyopon, his hilariousity, etcetc. 8DDD
★ Your favourite Nakai's drama? Of what I've seen of his, Suna no Utsuwa. He is faaar too sexy in it. /not complaining
★ Your favourite Kimura's drama? Karei-naru Ichizoku, duh.
★ Your favourite Goro's drama? I've only seen two of his things, Asuka e, Soshite Mada Minu Ko e and Busu no Hitomi ni Koishiteru and they're both so extremely different and extremely good, so it's a tie~ /indecisiveness ftw
★ Your favourite Tsu's drama? A three-way tie between Fuyu no Sakura-Ninkyo Helper-Food Fight currently. But, idk, he's just so unf in Ninkyo, but then again he is reaaally quirky in Food Fight, and oh god, I wanna' marry him in Fuyu--yeah. I'm a lost cause.
★ Your favourite Shingo's drama? Saiyuuki, despite Bara's fabulousness, because Saiyuuiki was just so cracky and fun and I somehow cried every episode. Oh and yeah, he was blonde. No biggie. P:
★ How do you call Nakai in your daily talks with people in the fandom? Usually Nakai or Nakai-bb.
★ How do you call Kimura in your daily talks with people in the fandom? Kim, 24/7. It only gets confusing IRL. Sometimes my cousin thinks I'm talking about a girl, ahaha.

★ Your favourite Kimura solo? Hardcore tie between Koi no Melody and shiosai (but Koi has the most plays in my entire itunes so that's probably telling)
★ Your favourite Goro solo? Jikan yo Tomare (but Dear God, do I have the softest spot for If You Give Your Heart)

★ Your favourite Nakai's outfit? He's pretty exquisite in things that emphasis his killer thighs. Spectacles! And beanies, lots of 'em! Unless it's his recent hair style, then no, don't cover that baby up.
★ Your favourite Kimura's outfit? Put him in plaid and roll those cuffs up and I'm a goner~
★ Your favourite Goro's outfit? Anything with a scarf and fitted. Shiawase performances were a really good time.
★ Your favourite Tsu's outfit? V-necks and jeans, because collarbones like his shouldn't be hidden away.
★ Your favourite Shingo's outfit? Casual-wear to the max, the frumpier the better.
★ Which concert outfits did you like the most? I can't choose between Pop Up! and Sample, but Pop Up! had waaay more colours and made no sense sometimes, so I think I'm going with that. And Shingo was in his most beautiful blonde hair phase yet.
★ Which concert outfits did you think was the most strange/bad? ILU Shingo, but I'm sorry, what was going on with those planetary suits in WaS? Even the earth-heads couldn't distract me enough from the wtfuckery that was going on, on your lovely bodies.
★ Which scriptwriter would you like to write a drama starring all 5 members of SMAP? Mitan Koki because he has awesome rapport with the boys and is genius, but ever since Terote Arena, I've always wanted to give Shingo a chance too. xDD
★ Which singer would you like to do a collab with SMAP? V6! Ask me tomorrow and it'll probably be Celine Dion, but V6 for now. 8DD
★ From which member do you want to be embraced? Kim, I suppose, because he seems to be really good at those and cawmon now, I'm merely human.
★ Which member would you like to hug? Shingo! He's a giant teddybear, that one.
★ Which member dresses better as a woman? It's a fight to the death between Nakai and Goro. Those two are Too Pretty For Their Own Good.
★ Do you like any other actor or band as much as you love SMAP? Actor? I guess someone like Denzel Washington. Band? Spill Canvas is a pretty big arse deal to me, so yeah. See? I like western stuff too, lol.
★ Did you watch Ai rabu SMAP? I've watched some episodes, yeah.
★ Your favourite pairing in SMAP? ShinTsuyo has been OTP since forever, but I really just love all of their different dynamics. And NakaGoro has the hugest chance of dethroning ShinTsuyo, if ever.
★ SMAP's worst fault? Their lack of interactions with the other Johnny's! I don't even need it to be with their kohai, I'd be happy enough with more collabs with people like V6 and TOKIO. ;AAA;
★ SMAP best quality? These men are a jack of all trades. I am forever in awe of how rounded they all are and how hard they work to make it look so easy. IJUSTLOVETHEMSOMUCH. ♥
★ Do you regret doing something because of SMAP? Don't think so. Don't know why I would, either. P:
★ The most craziest thing you've ever done because of SMAP? Uhhh, idk? I'll come back when I figure it out.
★ The thing SMAP did that made you feel really proud of them? All the work they've done in terms of the Tōhoku Earthquake, whether it was behind the scenes with their personal donations, or the SxS SP. It doesn't surprise me in the least to see them using their fame for an important cause.
★ If you saw SMAP right now, what would you tell them? ADSLKFHDL;DSLHDFKLJ... sign my boobs?
★ A wish you have for SMAP? I wish for there to be 20 more anniversaries and even more and for them to remain the youthful men who've made us laugh, cry, rejoice, flail, faint, etcetc. I also selfishly wish for my dream collabs to happen. |D;; It's crazy to think how big a part of my life they are, but I can't imagine a day without 'em and wish them centuries of success and love! /this is a wish kinda
