Dedication.

School is back in full swing, and I am very pleased to be taking most of the classes which I am. I thoroughly despise my TSOL class already; the material seems rudimentary and the level at which it is exposed is almost insulting compared to my literature classes. American Lit has a lot of interesting titles to be read in the syllabus, and World Literature is going to be interesting. What I am most looking forward to is my "Theories of Literature" class, which will teach me how to strategically read from here on out. I will be practicing these strategies with lyrics and popular movies in order to simplify the material. I already want to line up songs to "kill."

In result of my theories class, and more possibly a result of my insomnia the first night of school, I set up a new website which will be dedicated to different works of literature. I plan to write personal ideas, analysis and summaries of different texts I will read. Inspiration from this stems partially from Jeff Stieler's blog / dedication to his new application (www.movementapp.com). I find his intensity to his nerdiness rewarding him in ways which I want: self pride, satisfaction, dedication, ect. My new blog, which I have yet to enter an entry, is located at dictatethis.blogspot.com.

Life is lonely sometimes on this side of town, but even when I was in eastern Orlando, I stayed to myself. Kate contacted me yesterday and demanded we see each other, which is something I would love to do but have been putting off. I unintentionally exclude myself from personal connections- I prefer my quiet time. However, school is here, and relationships I have absent-mindedly avoiding are regrowing again. I appreciate Autumn. Please, Lord, let the leaves change this year.
