So this meme was going around about a year ago, and I suddenly felt the urge to look at it again and complete one for Sophia. I thought that some of you might also be interested in reading it, so I'm posting it here.
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
She's between 5'2" and 5'3", although she will always say she is taller. She's slender, but rather well endowed when it comes to her bust.
2. How old is she?
At the moment in game she is just 23, but in the story you last saw her at 21. I'll be answering these for whatever age takes my fancy.
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
She carries herself very well, apart from when she is angry, and then she tends to slump and stomp around everywhere.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
She is generally a very fit person and actually hates being ill. In fact she become quite unbearable when she is, and yet has has no sympathy for others when they are ill (apart from her children when they are young of course). Her pregnancies were not particularly pleasant for her because of this. Morning sickness was the worst thing ever as far as she is concerned.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
She's graceful apart from when she is angry, and then she stomps around and makes sure everyone knows it.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?
She is very beautiful, with strong features, but because they are all strong, they balance each other. She thinks she's pretty, but she has problems with her appearance due to her and her twin sister's very strong resemblance to their late mother.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
She has olive skin, and it's fairly clear now that she is out of her teens.
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
Her hair is a bright blonde, darker now that it was when she was younger. It's fairly thick and silky, not at all frizzy. It's also naturally straight.

A rich brown.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?

She suffers from backache on occasion.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?
Although she likes to dismiss those who take a keen interest in fashion as empty-headed nincompoops, she actually does like fashion a lot. As such, she is fashionably dressed, even if she doesn't go in for elaborate trimmings on her gowns. She prefers bold colours, especially purples and plums. She is used to being able to order dresses when she feels like it and so has a fairly expansive wardrobe for the era. However, she does end up wearing her favourite gowns again and again.
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them?
They are made to her measurements and fit her like a glove. She is very comfortable in them.
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences?
When she is helping in the shops, she tends to wear very much the same as what she would wear at home. Maybe she will put an apron and sleeves over her frock if she is moving stock around, but she doesn't tend to do that very much.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Silk and cotton combinations, although she has been known to wear a chemise and drawers on occasion.

She's bilingual, speaking Simlish (English) as her first language, and SimItalian as her second.

She should take more time to think things through, but she tends to think on her feet.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
I would say that she's intuitive. She would like to think that she is logical, but she has a habit of ignoring huge great big facts if they don't fit with what she wants to think. As she gets older, she goes get better with this.

Educated at home by a nanny, her mother and then a governess. She spent three years at the Acadamie finishing school in Simbridge.
5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about?
She is a fantastic cook. It's something which she hasn't really shared with anyone, but her mother loved to cook, as does her aunt in SimFlorence. Some of her happiest memories of time spent with her mother, take place in the kitchens of Winslow Hall, helping her to kneed dough or chop the ingredients for a ragu whilst their cook got on with making biscuits, cakes and preserves. Bertie finds this talent of hers very surprising.
6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert?
Extrovert.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Even-tempered? Sophia? I wouldn't exactly say that she has mood swings, but she does have a volatile temperament and is very impetuous. I wouldn't say that she is either cheerful or melancholy, she's just Sophia.
8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
She's suspicious. She can't help it, but she is always eyeing people up and forming very quick and absolute first impressions of them. It takes a lot for people to then change those.

No, I don't think she does.

Her mother's death and her subsequent treatment by her father. Meeting Bertie and him showing her up at the concert. The day her future brother in law was shot by a deranged cousin.
14. What does she fear?
Dying in childbirth like her mother did, and leaving her children and husband alone.
15. What are her hopes or aspirations?
This is quite a difficult one to answer actually. I think that she would want a long life with her husband and children, and yet that seems too trite and limited for her. I'm really not sure.
16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her?
That she feels more than she lets on. And that she will do anything for those she loves.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents.
She was really very, very close to her mother, and was devastated when she died. In fact, she's never gotten over it. With her father, it's much more complicated. He shut himself off emotionally from his daughters when Guilietta died, because they reminded him so much of her. As a consequence, he became cold towards them, and tried to make up for the lack of emotional love by spoiling them and giving them any material thing they wanted. This wounded Sophia deeply, because up until then, Matthew had been a very loving and hands on father. She has never forgiven him for this, and instead hardened her heart towards him too. This led to her basically taking advantage of him when it came to the material possessions she wanted, and treating him with disdain when with her sister. In his presence she remained cordial, but never showed him any affection for a long time. Even now, she remains aloof towards him.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
She has a twin sister, Lauren and they are extremely close. Her brother, James, died during his birth, as did their mother, and as such Sophia still harbours resentment towards the brother she never met.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand?
She very close to her mother's sister and the cousins on that side, even though she doesn't see them anywhere near as often as she would like. She, Bertie, their children, as well as Lauren and her family will travel to SimItaly each summer to see everyone, but it's still not enough.
She isn't very close to her father's side of the family, and can't bear her cousins. I saw this painting on tumblr the other day (sorry, I don't know who it's by or which gallery it's in, since the tumblr post also didn't have the painter), and, although it's a decade or so earlier than my story, this is basically something I can see happening on the morning of Sophia's wedding. Her Aunt Matilda's daugthers fussing around her whilst she gets ready, and her sitting there thinking "go away and leave me alone. I do not need your assistance and in fact I do not even want you at my wedding. Leave me alone."
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them?
She has some good friends from the Acadamie, but I don't know if she would consider them part of the family.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Her best friend is Lauren.
6. Does she have other close friends?
She is close to Bethany, Celly and will become close to Ellie in the story fairly soon. She's also fond of Felicity, even if she does annoy her and Berta Hayes, another fellow student of the finishing school.
7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people?
She has trouble getting along with people. In the past, it was always Lauren who made friends easily and Sophia tagged along for the ride. I think a lot is because she is so volatile and abrasive at times, and once you've said something she doesn't like, you know about it. She also really doens't suffer fools gladly and lets them know it.
8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends?
Family.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once?
In the story, she is betrothed but in game she is happily married.
10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
No, don't be silly.
11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest?
She had a crush on one of the stable lads when she was younger. Her latest is her husband.
12. What does she look for in a romantic partner?
Someone who loves her for being her. Who makes her blood sing. Who cares for her and loves her unconditionally.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any?
In the game, she currently has two children, and they're still babies. She will, more than likely, have more, and since she is a legacy spouse, she will eventually have grandchildren. If I ever start playing again regularly that is.
14. Does she have any rivals or enemies?
No, not really.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the
Kinsey scale?
I'd say she's straight, but I can also see her being bucurious.
16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her?
Sex is hugely important to her. She is very tirned on by Bertie, and very passionate by nature anyway. She enjoys it a lot, and has a very satisfying sex life.
17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
I wouldn't exactly say it's a weird bedroom habit, but both her and Bertie like rough sex. Both of them engineer arguments for fun and then take it out on each other. They enjoy it and it's become a game for them.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (
zodiac of
choice) sign? How well does she fit type?
She's a Gemini.

She was bought up in the equivilent of the CofE, but her mother was the equivilent of Catholic. She stopped being devout the day her mother died.

She does, she tries to be a good person in the ways she thinks matters.
4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
It depends on what those beliefs are and how they are presented to her by the believer. Someone who badgers her about how the Creator always knows what she is doing and is doing those things for a reason, is likely to get short shrift, especailly if they dont' take into account her feelings on the matter.
5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them?
I suppose that the only prejudices that she holds, are that her first impressions of people are absolute and they have to work damn hard to get her to change those.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
She's well off. Her husband and his family may not be as well connected or as rich as her family, but she is certainly not struggling in any way, shape or form.
2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her?
She is currently upper middle class, which is a step down from her lower upper class upbringing. Her Aunt Matilda is scandalised by this.
3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others?
She spent her childhood in Winslow Hall in Effingham, with long summers spent in SimFlorence with her mother's family. She then lived in a boarding house in Simbridge, and now she lives at 1 King's Square, with her husband, her children, her parents-in-law and her sister-in-law.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on?
Whatever she wants.
