Life, constantly in the way these days.

But I was able to test out 90% of everything!

1. The urinal works perfectly.

2. Both hat stands work like a charm! Now we just need some Victorian jewelry to go with them. I've tried to recategorize a lot of the jewelry that's already out there, but I'm doing something wrong.

3. The road is GORGEOUS! I just noticed one thing wrong with the overlay thingie. It's problem that rugs have in the game that's been fixed by Huge Lunatic here. I can't remember if you said that you cloned your overlay off of Ja's? I'm not sure if Ja's had the same issue, if you did do that ( ... )

5) Ok, finally got round to testing the barber chair again, and I'm finding exactly the same. I'm really not sure what's going on, since I cloned the original chair no problem. I'll have to look into it, or work on making it a default replacement instead.

I'm a complete tool for not getting back to you wayyyyyyy sooner.

But, to sum up what I was re-testing since my last comment, the defaults for the binoculars and ball work perfectly, and the chair isn't working on a residential lot, either. There might be a solution! What I've been thinking of is that Maxis re-did some coding and put that update into the OFB bundle collection, making the original game function and the collection version completely different, in working terms. Perhaps having someone with the collection make a package for you and then test out the theory, or perhaps just send them your files and collaborate with the project? I would be more than thrilled to do this for you, but I'm without my game for another month and a half or so... I meant to give you a heads-up, but again, I'm a tool! I really hope you're having a wonderful summer so far, and I'm looking forward to being back into full swing by the beginning of the fall. Take care!

Don't worry about it. I read your post at PBK, and I hope that the move is going well at the moment.

I'm really not sure what's going on with the chair, because it works fine for me on owned lots, but I'm finding the exact same bug on normal comm lots. It might be worthwhile trying that. The other thing I thought of was tracking down any other custom stylist chairs out there, and taking a look, to see if I can spot anything different between the two. Or try to make it a default replacement mesh. That'd probably work, but of course then, you would need to remove it if you wanted to play a modern lot.

Good luck with everything!
