Choose your own adventure.

Starlight sat on the edge of a rocky cliff dangling one leg over the jagged side. Her fiery red hair glowing in the late afternoon sun. Looking out on the sparkling silver jungle, it had just stopped raining and the sun had come out before making its long trek around to the other side of the sky. The night was looking like it would be an enjoyable one since the clouds were moving off, and it was shaping up to be a clear night. Starlight believed that any night she could look up and see where she got her name from was a good one. While Starlight was pondering the universe on her perch, she was so involved in her own thoughts she didn’t hear Zia walking up behind her. Zia knowing Starlight was not born into his tribe knew she was not as good at sensing people around her, she probably didn’t even know he was there yet, he thought. With two quick hands Zia grabbed Starlight’s sides, startling her to jump straight up and almost off the face of the cliff. Only Zia holding onto Starlight stopped her from tumbling down into the endless green expanse of jungle, but luckily Zia was the strongest individual in his tribe so it didn’t take very much effort to hold onto her.

Now the language spoken by Zia’s tribe has evolved over the hundreds of thousands of years into a visually descriptive language that use’s hand signals and gestures with different facial expressions to fully express the meaning of a conversation in the language. Due to this fact I the author will take the liberty to translate as well as possible the meaning and feeling behind the conversations in this story.

After Starlight settled down from the scare she had just received, she took Zia’s hand and slapped the top in a firm manor to get the feeling across that he had just scared her quite badly, then she wrapped her arms around his thick chest in a tight embrace. Zia had been gone on a trip for two full transits of the moon, off in the deep jungle exploring some strange phenomena scarcely visible from the lookout the two were currently standing on. Starlight had come every day before sunset to the lookout in hopes of seeing Zia return from his trip. The persistence had payed off and now she was excited to here what Zia had found on his journey. She asked him how far he had gone, what kind of obstacles he had encountered, what direction had he gone in, and a hundred more questions at the same time. She was extremely excited to see him back again. She knew that sometimes the adventurers didn’t come back, and it always worried her when Zia would be told by his father, the chief, to go investigate something or find someone.

Zia tried to calm Starlight down but her enthusiasm to see him was overwhelming. He sat down next to where she had been sitting. Putting both legs over the edge. Zia looked out over the jungle looking at it in a new light than he ever had before. Seeing the look on Zia’s face Starlight could see a lot was going on inside his brain, going over his recent adventure again and again. She sat down beside him and stretched one arm around to the middle of his back. He felt her warm embrace and reciprocated the action but with his arm reaching well past her back almost all the way around her. They sat like this for more than a couple of minutes reacquainting themselves with each others company.

1. To have Starlight and Zia make sweet love then reveal Zia's adventure, respond with 1.
2. To have Starlight and Zia get in a fight over something small and insignificant, respond with 2.
3. To have an alien spacecraft crash in the forest in front of them, respond with 3.
4. To just get on with the story as it is, choose 4.

now choose.
