trust?
yeah... work yesterday- the schedule ran for normal trading, and of course tuggers was open until nine. however my boss couldn't do it, and i was the only other person on in the afternoon. therefore, i got asked if i'd stay. i was left in charge of the shop!!! for three hours, including till clearances, etc. someone from the adults store came in to help out with closing up (thank god), but yeah. i'm a christmas casual, as low as you can go, and they left me in charge of the store!!!! awesome. specifically, claire said she gets to keep one of us, and it would look rather good if i did this...
i didn't do the best job on rack up- there was a massive rush of customers around 8, but i did finish the boxes of stock that got left, so i hope i did alright. no beach towels sold though... and tonight, i get to go in and stay until 2am. that should be fun! um, maybe not, but trading runs til midnight, and then we have the store to ourselves for sale setup, so it should be alright. some of the others have said it'll be a party... there'll be at least four of us on, too. good for set up, but 9-12 it might seem a tad pointless having that many of us in the store. oh well, i'm just happy that i survived it. happy, and hoping it means i'll get the permanent position!
