Tonight I should probably pack for tomorrow's trip to Berkeley. It's high time I found a place to live, and I'll be glad on Monday evening when it's over. Unless, of course, I don't find a place and am forced to live in residence or something. A fifth year in residence... uh... yeah.
It's funny; when I started mentioning to my profs and advisors that I'd really like to go to Berkeley, they all said "That's a great place to study." I got accepted to Berkeley right when William Hung was the big thing. After that, the response amongst my friends at UBC was equal parts "Hooray, that's a great place to study," and "William Hung goes there, you know." Then I come home and all I hear is "William Hung goes there, you know." Score one for Berkeley's credibility.
