i had a cool quote to put here, but i forgot it.
so today mr. cook set up this thing with mr. freed to collect money for the american red cross's katrina relief fund just for today and before i left, without counting all the change, we raised over $600.

i spent all of A2 in the commons 'begging' for money. i wanted to see how much was collected, so while i was counting, i told people to just put the money in the lid of the jar instead of the jar so i could count how much each of them gave me. i love alienating people.

i shouldn't really talk, i only gave $1.25. that was all i had. pout.
but the combined total was damn good!
i might also get to check this off asa service point for NHS, but i wanted to help before i knew i could do that, so i really had the best intention at heart.
