quick post
been a while since my last post so, here's a quick update.
i finally got myself a camera. it's big and sexy. hahaha, it's not classified as a D-SLR but it practically is one. they call it a high-end digital camera. so far i havn't been able to take really great pictures with it. too many functions to learn and mess around with. so confusing and difficult to learn, but, i'm slowly and surely getting the hang of it. hopefully the quality of my pictures will increase soon. hehe.
had a photoshoot with joe t. he helped me move one step closer to finishing my current bedroom series. i'm trying to come up with a title for the series but all i can do is explain the feeling i was aiming for with each picture. i've been giving previews to the series to certain people in hopes that it'll inspire them to come up with a name, but, no luck. i do like lora's description however:
"it seems like somebody waking up in the middle of the day on sunday after a great night and just being satisfied and looking forward to being lazy for the rest of the day"

joe's was the first actual shoot i did using my new camera. we didn't plan on anything aside from working on the series but i started off with a few test shots to warm us up.
music is the weapon of the future
this was actually taken in my shower in the infamous "cleanse wash scrub" bathroom. hahaha. when new people come to the house i feel the need to constantly reiterate the fact that the house was a model home previous to our purchasing it. i always get the, "awww, cleanse, wash, scrub!" reaction like my mom had painted the words on the walls to remind me to use the bathroom for those purposes. hahaha. i guess it's cute.
these guns are the weapon of today. hahahaha.
the other day i forced myself out of bed to hang out with kevin, matt, and danielle. we watched little miss sunshine. it was good. ^_^ and then ended the night playing cards, scrabble, and jenga.
"use your finger to do something in someone." good stuff
