"when the going gets weird, the weird turn pro" -thompson

It happened that the night prior to Hunter S. Thompson's death i watched a short biography on him with Jake called "Breakfast with Hunter". The next day i discover he's dead.

Fast forward a month. Jake and i watch the South Park called "Chef Aid" where Chef gets sued and has a benefit concert put on for him. The highlight, of course, was Johnnie Cochran's "Chewbacca Defense". The next day the headline reads "Johnnie Cochran Jr. Dead at Age 67". I think to myself... "that's weird. That's what happened with Thompson."

And to add to that, it says he died at age 67. That's the age Thompson died at.

They each died at the same age a month apart. Both had been anticipating their deaths since December. Both were American legends. The watching of the videos (whether or whether not it be as stupid as South Park) the nights before each died.

What's up with that?

So i try to look more into it at work:

When the American public think Hunter S. Thompson, they think Fear and Loathing and thus they think Johnny Depp.
When the American public think Johnnie Cochran Jr. they think OJ Simpson trial.

Both Thompson and Cochran have 5 letters in common with the corresponding name (by this i mean first or last) of the primary person involved in the other's legacy.

Both have three parts to their name when its printed in the tabloids?

But this last part all seems a little too stupid to mean anything. Actually, it all looks kind of stupid to mean anything. So? Rock legends die at 27. What the fuck does that mean?

where can i take this? What's the clue? Where is this going? There's got to be more than just the top part.

And so, i'm crazy. It's not like i have anything better to be.
