So I ended up with like $140 to spare this month, which NEVER happens, and it was so hard to choose how to spend it! I need so much for back to school. Well I *NEED* nothing really, except maybe a dance bag. Woops, I forgot about a dance bag! Baaa, well hopefully babysitting for Michel and Eileen's parents' anniversary dinner date on Monday night will give me the $20-30 I need for that. Plus leg warmers would be a really good thing with all the classes I'll have. Grrr.
So I found like the PERECT jeans at Ross today...for $11.99!!! I was so excited! I mean there are a few pairs that I want from International Male, but they are all at least $70, and some either aren't boot-cut or aren't long enough and I can't try them on to see, etc. Well these are PERFECT...32-32 but PLENTY LONG, I can't imagine how long 34 would have been. I'm a 32 waist but usually a 34 length, which is hard to find because people assume with a small waist you are short, for some random reason. Anyway these jeans are also low-rise, loose, AND boot-cut! And they are very cool-looking, faded Levi's! Sorry it was just a really exciting thing for me to find pants that are all those three things I love (low-rise, loose, and boot-cut) that are also long enough for me AND in my waist size...and for $11.99! And not some random Mervyn's brand but Levi's! Hurrah.
So that's random to get so excited over one purchase isn't it? Hahaha well it was just so great. I was gonna spend like $100 on some IM jeans, which I still want, but these jeans will do for now, and that left me most of my spare money to buy MADONNA STUFF! :D
So ya with my extra money I bought two practical souvenirs from Madonna's tour merchandise store that I've wanted since I went to the show(s). First there's this ultra-cool hoodie that I just knew I HAD to have when I saw it, since I've always wanted a hoodie and this is one of my new fave Madonna pix ever...(she's so hot and 45 in the photo!)...but ya tour merchandise prices are crazy, this was $95, and I didn't know that I could ever afford it, so hurrah.
And then I got this cool 80's sweat-/wrist-band with the tour logo. I only got one but maybe I'll get a second one next time I order from the store. The idea is I could use two practically in dance class, or I guess I could wear just one to be fashionable. Are you really supposed to always wear two? I dunno.
Anyway so that was a materialistic and boring post, eh? I think I need this tank top next:
