so the timing belt went out on my car again for the 3rd time in 60,000 miles...my parents aren't going to help me fix it because it will cost more money than the car is worth, and they're right...there is something defective with it, 3rd time being the case
regardless...they offered to buy me another car...i bought this one, my first real car, with my own money...at one point in time in my life i was convinced they owed me a shit ton because they bought two cars for my brother and always gave him a shit ton of money...regardless, he came out, i became the favorite, and now i don't want shit from them...my point is more of a question...am i an idiot for specifically telling them not to buy a car for me, telling them to get a new car for my mom, and leaving me with the old busted honda, even though their original intent was to get me another car of my choosing?
this calls for a 12 pack of reflection i think...probably going to kick my own ass this weekend
