Who: Sakura, Naruto, Hiashi, Shino, Hinata
Where: A Gallery :D (someone please enlighten me?)
What: A gallery opening thrown by Hisashi that features Hizashi's artwork
When: Sometime in November
Sakura wiped the steam off the mirror with the back of her hand letting out a satisfied sigh; showering after a run was the best - second best after ice cream. After drying off she wrapped her flower patterned towel around her body before pulling out her blowdryer and plugging it in and quickly blow drying her hair smoothing it with her fingers once it was mostly dry. She had put the clothes she was going to wear to the gallery opening out before she had gone for her jog.
At first she hadn’t been sure if she wasn’t to wear something vintage-y that favoured her personal style or something more black tie. Naruto hadn’t told her what kind of even it was going to be other than the fact she would love it and it was the first night the exhibit was opened. She didn’t want to be too flashy, her hair already did that for her and she didn’t need to overplay it. She had a really nice herve ledger piece, but it was a little too body conscious. Finally she had found the perfect choice, slightly artsy with a little flair but not over the top.
The gorgeous
dirty gold Marchesa that she bought with her first paycheck; it was organza light and airy almost fantasy like. She ran her fingers across the material the corners of her lips turning up in a smile before getting dressed and then shuffling through her closet for a pair of black strappy
Jimmy Choo sandals and a black clutch. She didn’t usually admire herself in the mirror but if she died in this dress she’d be happy. Checking the clock she grabbed some cooking from the kitchen and munched them down as she put on a little make-up, her usual - mascara, a little touch of liner and some strawberry coloured gloss.
Briefly she wondered if she should eat something more, but she couldn’t cook in a rush that’s when bad things happened, like the kitchen fire for example. Really it hadn’t been that big of a deal, the pot had boiled over and the stove caught on fire it probably happened all the time didn’t it?
She sighed and did one last look in the mirror before sitting on her couch and doing her shoes up. It was still early; she was way too excited for this entire thing. It made her feel a little bit conflicted, was it alright to feel so eager to go on an ‘outing’ with someone who wasn’t your boyfriend that you didn’t really know? No, she wasn’t going to let this bother her and she was going to have a good time. She was really bad at waiting wasn’t she, this time when she hopped up from her couch she saw Naruto walking up to her door, early. She liked that.
