I think people leave phone numbers in thier away messages and/or profiles for attention. Like they dont have enough friends or something. Like they have to advertise themselves. I just noticed how many people left it in.

right but advertising the number implys that they do not have friends since friends have each others numbers so infact they are pseudo-loners

dude, that's like so true, I always sorta thought about it that way... but then, again, look at Bree, lol, she often leaves her number in her away message, and after-all, anyone who's ever dated me can't quite be a loser... =p
