I've recently made an interesting discovery: apparently my time at cancer central was taken up by pretending that I was doing my job. now that I no longer have to pretend and can blatantly read blogs (
www.bookslut.com), the day goes by much more slowly. today I left to get my eyebrows waxed because I just couldn't handle staring at my computer anymore. (well, that and I really needed a wax.)
my main form of activity as the countdown continues is to compile a list of things to do during my week off. so far the possibilities are such:
- make a perfect dal
- go to yoga every day
- get a massage (actually scheduled!)
- bake lots of vegan goodies
- visit the new ICA (institute of contemporary art)
- write
- have adventures (this could be more specific)
I'm looking for suggestions - especially from you kids with full time jobs. if you had a week off, what would you do with it? what do you fantasize about while sitting at your desk, slaving through the 9-5? I'm offering to live out your dreams for you! unless, of course, your dreams involve chilling with dov charney because I don't do that, man.
