touch the tip of your nose with your finger. that's what a healthy prostate should feel like.

touch your forehead. that's what a cancerous prostate feels like.

touch the fleshy part of your cheek. that's an infection in your prostate. it's not a tumor, but it's not good.

I learned this at the Cancer Orientation this past weekend. apparently, this is what oncology interns are told, followed by the advice to always take your glove off before testing your face.

in other news, I had my first celebrity sighting ever on Sunday. Jay from season one of project runway (and the later show, project jay) was at the rice pudding shop that kstrand and I visited. and fortunately he left before we had to share a table with him, because then we would have been exposed for the tools that we are.
