change of venue for Zine picnic !!!!!
Guys change of venue for Zine Picnic. It’s happening next Saturday on the 18th of April starting at 1.00pm. So less than two weeks away.
We are meeting upstairs at South Bank Centre Royal festival hall in the foyer. There is a huge foyer with tables and chairs and not I repeat not at the British Museum who said no to us.
The Royal festival hall is much better venue anyway as it will be quieter and its closer to folk who come in to warterloo.
I will post details tonight about how the zine works. But it's only two weeks away so you need to start scribblign with ideas as in two weeks we put the whole thing together.
I reckon reviews and short stories will need to be typed as they involve large blocks of text and so you need to try and print out stuff before we meet on the saturday.
Each person has at least a page of a4 each ( you can do 2 pages of A4) which will be folded into the zine will make four sides of a5 to play with. You roughly have a max of 100- 250 words per side.
So to reiterate. everthing works around A4. Each person has four sides of A5 they need to fill. The prolifc among can do 2 A4 sheets or eight sides.
Tip
Don't feel as if you have to write lots. Less is more with these things as we can do cool art to illustrate.
