your body probably passes about 18 pounds of mass through it over the course of day, and so your momentary weight can fluctuate quite a bit in that range depending on when you weigh yourself.

your real weight (think of it as a daily average) can not possibly drop by six pounds in one day.

someone your size could lose about pound a day if you fasted entirely and went about your daily business.

if you rode your bike from toronto to harwood AND consumed not a single calorie, you might lose 3 pounds. tops.

so i'm just saying, don't get too upset if you seem to have put 5 of those pounds back on by tomorrow.

all that fruit (good soluble and insoluble fibre) is helping the huge quantities of protein you ingested get properly absorbed or move merrily along its way rather than sit there lodged somewhere in your duodenum.

i predict poops and a quick, easy return to your proper weight.
keep up the fruit and exercise.

if you always weigh yourself at the same time every day, it will allow you to better estimate your mass.

that's the corollary.

that your six pound heavier weight from yesterday could actually be the anomaly and that today's weight could be closer to your true weight.

really, you should weigh yourself at the same time every day and then plot it out with lines of best fit, error bars and Chi2 values. that's what i recommend.
