The weekend so far

It seems that this is one long weekend I am not prepared for. For one, I spoke too soon when I said that there's no work to be done. Armand has a project to attend to, while not at all times, it still keeps his attention on something other than total and absolute rest.

Does it come with age? The not-being-able-to-read-for-hours-on-end? Because I'm pretty much the same way, too. But I hope it's not because we're getting old. Sometimes I think it's ADD. But most of the time it's got to do with my eyes. Lately, my eyes seem to strain easily.

But I gotta say, that post left me salivating for good food. ;p

Can you tell we eat a lot?

About reading: I hope it's not age. For me, it's also that I'm tired a lot these days. I do everything else but read too, so I may be out of practice as well.

Welcome to heavy-duty parenting! Non-reading is one of the primary symptoms. I have to work at reading these days, sitting up after everyone's in bed and keeping my eyes open with tiny toothpicks. I guess it's a casualty of the battlefield of parenting. Like uninterrupted conversation. Complete sentences. Clean floors. Doing just one thing at a time ...
