I'm just now getting over a lovely chest cold I picked up some time this week. Thank goodness for hot tea. Not sure if I picked it up at drill over the weekend or during the week. Drill wasn't too bad. We had our weapons qual. I passed, barely but it's enough.
I'll be getting some extra money from the military for helping screen brass and assist in the move. The unit is moving to Troy so it'll only be an 8 minute drive for me now. Also since I've made some friends in the unit I may get a permanent job. There are a few openings that I've applied for and they'll put in a good word for me. That pay is better then what I'd have at the state but I really was hoping to be done in March. We'll see how it plays out.
