I just stumbled across Belladonnaroses' PARADISE LOST completed work of art. It's NC17 and done in 2nd POV, but don't let that stop you from reading! It's written VERY well. Right after Buffy sends Angel to hell and Dru runs off on Spike, the two scorned lovers to each other for a bit of cold comfort.
clawofcat & only_passenger, I think you guys would like this one. It's not exactly dark, but it's gritty and does show a darker side to the Spuffy relationship. Just two people in pain who have no else to turn too. Buffy ain't no cheerleader in this one, either.
