Well, let me break it down.

Something here simply does not feel right. I just need to know what it is that I need to change to set things straight.

Everytime I feel as though I have reinforced my tolerance for frustrating and unnecessary comments, it seems as though I am being tested harder. Sometimes I feel as though a ton of the tech population have an urgent desire to prove their potential and capacity for intellect to everyone around them in every mundane activity as though a superiority complex left from childhood is scared to die out and needs to be satiated. and it gets to be very annoying. Each has a constant hope to outsmart the other or just start unnecessary banter. It's one of those, "sure I agree with you, but let me make sure that you know that my facts are better than your facts."

Fictional Reenactment:
"It's so hot, it feels like it's 80 degrees out here"
"What'd you say?"
"I said that I felt as though it were 80 degrees out here"
"No it's not, I checked the weather channel, and it's actually only 77 degrees."
"Ok....great."

I then, finally, had 3 great conversations in the past day or so and realized that I'm not insane, and that there are healthy conversations to be had. Maybe I'm just used to consistently being surrounded by good conversation, that it just takes a toll when you can't find one in a while.

Fictional Reenactment:
"This is so outdated and irrelevant. It seems pointless to continue keeping it here"
"But you know that back in the day they actually used this and it was relevant."
"Ok....so?"

I hate being in the middle of a competition when I have no desire to compete. I feel as though I'm handling the situations very well until certain days when you just have to regroup. I need to totally clear my head and add another layer of understanding.

Fictional Reenactment:
"I think criminals should be put in prison"
"I don't think so, because there was one lady in 1983 who suffered more when outside than in prison so that's not totally right."
"K.....cool"

My roommate is pretty cool. My physics professor is also a cool Mo-fo. Things are looking hard this semester. Here it comes.

Fictional Reenactment:
"Can you salt me the pass?"
"What did you say?"
"I said, can you pass me the salt"
"No you didn't, you said 'can you salt me the pass'"
"Oh...ok....so can you pass it to me now?"

yawn. it's late.

All reenactments have simply been conjured for the sake of an example.
