Nostalgia moment
Wow, I know these people...
While I was working as Music Director at WITR in Rochester, NY, making far too much money co-opping at an Internet startup, and blowing it all on the woman whom I would eventually marry, my old friends cdlrosa and dawn_m where partying with the icecastlebbs crowd.
You know, it's wierd. When I was a young teen, my dream was that by the time I got married, I'd have so much money that I could afford to fly all my old friends from the Houston and Dallas BBS scene to the site of my wedding to attend... but that didn't happen, obviously. In fact, the only friends from my side who could make it were a married couple from my office. I suppose some of that could have to do with the fact that I didn't send invites to a lot of the Houston crowd, but that's cuz I figured it'd be unrealistic to expect them to fly up to a remote area of Maine for the wedding of a friend they hadn't seen in almost 10 years.
Oh, well. I need to call up dawn_m next time I'm in Houston, so we can hang out.
