1. don't fall for boys who live overseas. If you do you should get over the boy when he gets a girlfriend. Just because you've been emailing each other for two years doesn't necessarily mean you'll ever see him again
2. don't fall for polyamorous boys unless you are polyamorous yourself. It will bring out all sorts of issues that don't occur in monogamous relationships like wondering where he is when he's not with you. WRONG.
3. don't fall for emotional actors they require too much time and energy.
4. don't fall for the guy you had a one night stand, he's probably not going to call, which is part of the reason you picked him. remember you don't actually like this person.
5. don't fall for your best friend. It hurts and generally you've interpreted your love wrong. That and people generally think you're brother and sister.
