Back in my day we preferred to have our breakdowns privately not publically...

i was discussing with my mother, the source of almost all knowledge and wisdom, the strange obsession for online blogs. how did she phrase it? the fact that our generation likes to air our dirty laundry publically.

But what exactly has changed? are we all so determined to be brave by talking about taboo subjects that we now can't shut up? or is it mere attention seeking? did we not get enough love in our childhood? and if so how is it that an ENTIRE generation didn't get enough, and, after seeing the way we behave on a saturday night, still can't seem to get enough.

Is the fact that we now talk about things a good thing or a bad thing? in one way i suppose its good that light has been shed on certain subjects thus dissolving common misconceptions. but are we talking about the right thing? Are we even in the right forum? it seems sometimes that we're more comfortable with technology than our selves.

This could of course just be me over analysing everything as usual but its still something i'd like you to think about.
